Whitby Park Summer Jam 2018 to be women only

Next summer’s Summer Jam, in Whitby Park, is to be for women only on the Saturday – it has been revealed.

The event was a huge success earlier this year, when it was held on the 29th and 30th July in Whitby Park. Attendees enjoyed music from acts such as AKA Noel Gallagher (returning in 2018), Turbulence and Buckle Tongue, as well as wrestling shows, children’s entertainment and lots of food and drink stalls.

However, next summer’s event promises to be swathed in controversy as the organisers have double booked with a women’s rights event scheduled for Whitby Park on the Saturday. Rather than cancel the Summer Jam, its organisers have agreed to make the Saturday a ‘women only’ event.

Male children under the age of 13 will be allowed to enter, but no male adults will be permitted under the rules imposed by the Women’s Rights movement, holding their event in the park.

The ‘no men’ rule also applies to the acts, organisers and stall holders – as AKA Noel Gallagher will only be performing on the Sunday, and will not be permitted to enter the park on the Saturday.

One of the event organisers, Stephen McMillan, commented:

We don’t know how the mix-up happened, but it’s done now. We know some people will be disappointed, but we’re sure everyone will have a good time regardless.

James Ogden, who attended the Summer Jam earlier this year, was less enthusiastic about the event.

It’s a bloody joke. How can they stop blokes from going in? I’m going, I’ll tell you that for nothing.

Deirdre Jacobs, one of the organisers of the Women’s Rights event, confirmed that men would not be permitted. She told our reporter:

This is a women-only event. No men. Now get away from me you disgusting man or I’ll call the police.

What do you think about the Summer Jam? Will you be attending? Were you there this year?

  1. I don’t get this third wave feminism wrecking our culture today. It really is a cancer and I don’t care who is offended by that. It’s a bunch of professional victims with mental instabilities. These “ladies” (they’re not ladies) take issue when a man professes what he thinks a woman should be or makes generalisations about women. Yet, these hypocrites have no problem telling men what it means to be a man and assuming that all men are rapists (thus making young men in universities go to “consent” classes).
